Yet again (3rd time, Yay!), I have been nominated by
Anmol Rawat for the Liebster Award. You can visit him here: http://anmolrawat.blogspot.in/
Blogging has always been a nice
experience for me - to share what you ponder, raise your concern over what
bothers you and get appreciation in return. By God’s grace, it has been
only 8 months, and I’m being supported and appreciated by my readers beyond my
expectation. Such people motivate me to write. I feel so happy, honored &
privileged to have been nominated. Thank you Anmol, I’m delighted to accept
this award!
Liebster rules:
The
Liebster Award is intended to promote love and spread blogging goodness amongst
upcoming bloggers. The name is German in origin and means “sweetest” “dearest”
etc. and sort of operates like a chain email.
Here are
the rules of the award:
1] Link
back to the blogger who nominated you.
2]Answer
the 11 questions given to you by the blogger who nominated you.
3] Nominate 11 other bloggers with less than 200 followers.
3] Nominate 11 other bloggers with less than 200 followers.
4]Go to
the blogs you nominated and notify them of your nomination.
5] Give your nominees 11 questions to answer.
5] Give your nominees 11 questions to answer.
My answers to Anmol’s set of questions:
Q1. Happy or Annoyed? What was your
first reaction when you were tagged in this post? Now, we all need truthful
answers.
A1. Obviously
happy! Who is ever dejected to accept awards?! ;)
Q2. Why do you blog?
A2.
Initially, I was clueless, why do I blog..mmmphh? :P But now, it is so into me,
that I feel incomplete if I don’t update my blog regularly. It has become a
part of me. It also gives a way out to what bothers me, what I feel. And the
appreciation I received as time passed by, gave me a boost to continue
blogging. Each comment, each vote, I value, because it’s a measure of people
acknowledging my work.
Q3. Fame or Money? Why?
A3.
Fame (for something good, like my writing) I wish to get my book published.
And, the major cause is not money, it is just for people to know the story I wish
to narrate, and in the process I want recognition- of an author, a published
author! Believe me nothing makes me more happy than people asking me about my
book, its status, or my blog. It’s lovely to hear people asking you, ‘Oh! So
you write? I read a few posts. I enjoyed them.’
Q4. Do you ever feel other bloggers are copying your stuff without any link back to your blog or without any mention? If yes, would you mind sharing how you feel at that time?
A4.
I never felt so, I do and will always maintain harmony with my co bloggers,
have met some beautiful people in this course, who have the same passion as
mine. I get to learn a lot from them.
But yes, I am strictly against
plagiarism. It will always remain cheating, if you don’t quote it in your
article. It is an ethical offence.
Q5. Are you an atheist? If no, what makes your belief strong? If yes, why?
A5. I am not an atheist, I do believe in the
concept of God, a supreme power, but I am secular. I believe if prayers are
true, then it doesn't matter if you join hands to pray at a temple, church or
at namaz!
Q6. What’s your view regarding the feminism? Do you think that solely males are responsible for everything or do you believe that it depends from person to person and talking in general is senseless? Elaborate your answer.
A6. Feminism
is a concept that demands equal rights, opportunities and freedom for women.
But, I am not much in favor of women fighting for literally any petty issue,
for eg., the recent one is they are creating a hullabaloo over some punches (against
women) in our most favorite show ‘Comedy Nights with Kapil’! I really don’t
support this kind of Feminism, since it is just a comedy show it has to be
taken that way! People need to grow up and not take silly things overboard,
just for attention grabbing sake! I
hate women who consider men as their benchmark for all their successes and
failures. Feminism is a farce, at times! Being a self made woman, I don’t think
the world is anymore a male dominated one. Women are catching up at a pace
unimaginable!
But on
parallel lines, in serious cases like domestic violence, sexual harassment,
such Mahila Mandals are absolutely necessary and reasonable.
Q7. If you were given three wishes, what would they be?
A7. - Best wishes in terms of health and prosperity for my family, always.
- A lovely life partner.
- A lovely life partner.
- I want to get my book
published, (but for that, I need some serious sitting and writing, please grant
me that first :P)
Q8. What is your wildest fantasy? What is your biggest dream?
A8. Wildest
fantasy(ies): - A world tour with HIM! ;) (without any worries!)
- To
run on a Bali beach with my gown flowing! (filmy style)
- Dancing
to the tunes of ‘Tumhi Ho Bandhu’ wearing a jumpsuit on a beach vacation :P (I
know I’m filmy :P)
Biggest dream: To be a very famous
teacher, and a well known best seller author.
Q9. Rapid Fire:
>Name
a movie and a book in which you cried the most: Though you have asked one, I can’t decide on one! I don’t cry at movies
and books, I just felt grossly sad/emotional at #Kal Ho Na Ho, Babul, Baghban, Taare
Zameen Par, New York. (Don’t remember anymore now :P) &
# ‘I
Too Had A Love Story’ by Ravinder Singh and ‘P.S I Love You’ by Cecilia Ahern.
>A
song which comes in your mind when it’s raining: ‘Rimjhim Rimjhim’ from 1942: A Love
Story and ‘Barso Re Megha’ from Guru, (recent addition) ‘Tum Hi Ho’ from
Aashiqui 2!
>If
you could exchange lives with someone whom will it be? ~ I really don’t like this idea. Main apni sab se favorite hoon ;) No
exchange, I am happy with the way my life is! We never really know the level of
problems in another person’s life. It is only when we sit and exchange our
troubles across a table, we realize it is better we take our life, as it is,
and leave the table.
>Which
superpower would you like to have if given chance? ~ A superpower to spread happiness and smiles across and abolish the
gaps religions have created.
>Do
you believe in love at first sight? ~ No,
it’s a myth. I can never fall for someone just at looking at him. Looks are
deceptive!
Q10. Anything that you will like to change about yourself?
A10.
I would want to refrain from getting too easily attached to people, it changes
the ‘chirpy’ me. I hate being sad and low, for people who hardly care.
Q11. You have read eleven facts about me. Suppose you are given a sheet with all these eleven points and now you have to write a few lines explaining that person.
A11. You are just a guy next door! Fun loving
person, shy, emotional, a movie buff, avid reader, a passionate writer, an atheist
(loved your strong reasons behind the ideology), music lover, the last point
(respecting women).
Great questions, Anmol! Loved answering
them, discovered a bit of myself while I answered them! :D
My nominees: Check them all out when
you get a chance – they are such talented bloggers and I really enjoy reading
each and every one of them.
To the people I have nominated above: Congratulations!
The reason behind me nominating you is, I enjoy reading your blog and you
deserve a lot more subscribers. Keep writing!
# My

> What
would you wish to name a movie about your life?
>What

DeleteLoved reading your answers Aayesha :)
ReplyDeleteSome people might be annoyed to answer eleven questions you know ;)
I can't help but agree with the third answer.
Oh! So you write? I read a few posts. I enjoyed them.’ That is an amazing feeling. I want to be a published author too :D All the very best for that :)
Loved your sixth answer and I totally agree :) Feminism shud means Women = Men while many so called feminist root for Women > Men. Also I do agree about that Comedy Nights episode. Feminism does not mean over reacting, it simply means reacting in the right sense. I too vouch for equality. Why should there be a difference? :) and yes, indeed females have taken over and our society is gradually becoming balanced. Its a bitter truth that in the under developed regions, females are still treated down but I hope things will change soon.
A7: I need the third wish 'in brackets' as well. :p
I haven't read both of the books :D I will someday ther are sort of in my reading wishlist.
Kal Ho Naa Ho - one of my fav :)
Thank you for the last answer :))
Once again. It was great reading them and to know about your views regarding so many things. All the best again for your book. (May be you can give me some tips when you finish it :D )
I will surely visit these links soon!
hehe :D I am surely not among those 'some' Anmol ;)
DeleteHey all the best to you too then (for your book) :D
Yes, regarding the feminism thing, I hope so too! that things change soon! :)
haha may be both get the bracketed wish :P
pakka I'll give you advice albeit I finish my book before yours :P
thank you again for nominating me, means a lot :)
Congrats to you too :D
