Mushy Conversations : Wildfire

You poke and stare,
A wildfire glare,
In melting shrieks,
I turn and burn, away,
Till all that’s left - is ash.

Love is all consuming,
As he shines like silver midnight moon,
As liquid fire melts with twinkling sunshine of his eyes,
Feeling the warmth of his beating heart now fluttering so,
I see a radiant chain of daisies growing in the deep green grass.

Every choice I have ever made throughout my long life,
Has led me now to him at this very special moment in time,
I have now a clear vision of my life, my fate, and my destiny.

Becoming the richest person in this giant, lonely world—
Means finding you and sharing our love unconditionally.

Truly, as liquid fire melts beyond in great stars of the cosmos,
I think of you, our love.

Beside this hearth you tenderly caressed,
My body and we simmered; then we pressed, against each other,
Heat was our domain!

Nothing can extinguish;
Your warming touch,
A lasting impression,
That means so much.

Bound to be burned,
As we played with fire,
Every thought of those moments will forever stay,
Of crimson...of rose...of fire...of love...

Nano Fiction 44 : The Lunch

Caring gives us depth, compassion, and understanding. These things help us grow as human beings.

How nice it is to have someone who cares about you, loves you unconditionally, and feeds you love. Yes, some people feed you with love. They love you so much. So much so that, even after being a distance away, the care will never stop. That is when you know, this is it. You are going to love them for eternity and beyond.

As human beings, we have great hearts -- passionate, feeling, sensitive hearts. Because of that, we need great love, not mediocre love -- and we need to give great love, too. Love, care, appreciating efforts and attention is sufficient to sustain any relationship.

A good relationship requires big investment, of time and care. The quality of love matters, everything other than that is negotiable. Find and wait for someone who showers you with fine quality of Love. I am so grateful to have people around me who understand it and make me understand this fact better. I am thankful, and you know it. ;)

Book Review #61 : Panorama

Title – Panorama
Author – Shilpi Chaklanobis
Publisher – Notionpress

First things, first. The cover of the book is gorgeous. And the title ‘Panorama’ is very apt keeping in mind the stories that it comprises of.

The author says, “This book might not change your life, but it is sure to change the way you look at it.” It surely does! It changes the way you see the world around you, post reading it.

It contains 15 short stories, each covering a diverse topic. Each story depicts a story of a complex human life. Stories which will move the readers to their core.

Each story will show you or teach you something. The stories are set in Indian context so that you can connect with them perfectly. I appreciate the author on how she has portrayed the stories with the help of characters that we see in our day to day life.

The language used is simple & the writing style is fresh.

Almost every story in the book starts beautifully. I kept turning the pages quickly, and finished the book in one go. I liked so many of them, but Wok and The Second Tsunami are my favorites.

There are very minor editing errors, that could have been easily avoided.

About the quality of the paperback, the cover and paper quality is very good.

Read this book and know the values of relationship, emotions and learn about the people around. A short and light read on a rainy day!

P.S: A Review copy of this book was sent by the author in exchange of an honest review.

Rating - 4/5

Nano Fiction 43 : Fights

Many a times we say or do things, we regret later. When we think later, we feel it wasn't necessary to spit that out. In a fit of momentary anger or disappointment, in an impulse, we do things that cause permanent damage.

Fights are an important part of a relationship. Because you know, they care, when they fight. But never let it overpower what you feel for each other.

I think, if he was a book,
He'd be the one I'd throw across the room,
Then hours later,
Pick up again and leaf through its pages.
He would tempt me to throw him, that's for sure..
But something about him, will always bring me back,
I know!
