Live Life, Before You Leave Life

You believe someone else is causing you stress? The truth is there is only one person responsible for your state of mind- YOU.

If we love people for what they are without demanding and imposing bondage, we remain stress free. Learn to let go and not mull over things. Mental turbulence is caused by unfulfilled desire which takes the form of greed, delusion, envy, arrogance and frustration. Eliminate desire and you will perform every action perfectly and effortlessly. 

The cliché is ‘the grass is always greener on the other side.’ A child yearns to become a grown up adult, and an adult misses the childhood joys. We seem always to want what we haven’t got. We seem always to want to be what we are not. World is a prism of desires, unquenchable thirst and unsatisfying hunger.

An alarming increase in the suicides in metro cities points out that people lack patience and want everything too quickly. Yes, at times, life squeezes you, but only to get the best out of you. 

Whisper a prayer, "GOD, THANK YOU FOR THE GIFT OF SELF TO ME!"

  1. Parental pressure is another reason for suicides. Children think their lives are ruined if they don't achieve the bar set by their parents. Hopefully this will change soon.

  2. So true. We need to let go of some feelings and try to be happy. Stress management is in our hands. Just support from near and dear ones is also great.
