Book Review #51: The Forbidden Line

I was so excited to read this book. Whenever a blogger friend publishes a book, I feel intensely proud of the blogging fraternity and I also feel motivated.

I have followed Mayank Kashyap's blog 'Snappy Thoughts' for a while now and I enjoyed reading him.

This is the debut novel of Mayank Kashyap. I loved the title, its trailer and also the catchy book jacket.

This book is a quick read. A rollercoaster ride of emotions, you can cry one moment and as you flip the page you're forced to smile on the next one.

The story has a good plot and is well written. The characterization is commendable. It has all the ingredients to be a 'bestseller'.

Mayank Kashyap has done a very good job of narrating the story in a way that intrigues the readers. The writing is exceptionally smooth and never boring.

The book has so much to offer more than just romance. The message that - you have to push yourself beyond the forbidden lines without fears or doubts and find yourself and why you were brought into this world is a takeaway for the readers.

There are some spelling mistakes in the book like on page no. 80 and 84 the spelling of ‘post mortem’ is written as ‘post modem’ , on page no. 97 author had written ‘Mon’ instead of ‘Mom’. Such kind of bloopers and punctuation errors should be taken care of to make the book flawless.

As I conclude this review, I wish to let my readers know that, Mayank is a gifted writer who writes with all his heart.

I recommend this book to everyone who wants to do something in life.

Thank you so much for sending over the book, Mayank!
